1. Can you only clean baking trolleys in this machine?
When development started, the focus was on the cleaning of baking trolleys. The concept has proved itself so well that we have optimised the original construction. The machine is now able to clean baskets, baking sheets, slice pans and dishes
2. How are baskets cleaned? In a stack or how is it done? Baskets are cleaned in lots of 4 stacks. The effective height for cleaning is 2 m. less the plastic pallet.
Even the parts of the baskets that lie directly on top of each other can be cleaned, thanks to the jet technology. With normal levels of soiling, the machine also cleans the area between the 4stacks.
If a basket doesn't get clean on this inside area, it changes its position for the next washing process so that all-round cleaning is guaranteed.
3. Can I wash my baking sheets together with the trolley?
It goes without saying that you can wash baking sheets in the trolley; they just have to be positioned so that they don't collect water, i.e. it may be necessary to turn them over when placing them in the trolley.
You should also take care that there is no strong lye in the trolley, otherwise aluminium baking sheets could be affected by this. However, you can clean the trolley and the baking sheets at the same time using mild lye or aluminium-safe lye.
4. And how do I clean my baking sheets that have three raised edges?
We have developed a special slice pan trolley for cleaning these slice pans. You can place your slice pans in these trolleys in a way that allows them to be cleaned thoroughly. The jets spray them diagonally from below.
In addition, we have developed another container trolley in which you can stack closed containers in such a way that they can be cleaned thoroughly without the water remaining in the containers. Like our trolley for dishes, this container trolley is used, above all, by confectioners for cleaning their entire dishes and their cauldrons.
5. How much water does the machine use?
The machine requires approx. 20 litres of water per wash. This is very little when you consider the quantity of items being washed. Such economical consumption can only be achieved with a specially contrived trick: the dirty water is drained from the items before rinsing.
6. If I bought a machine, how long would you need to install it - do you have to do welding or assembly work on site?
The machine is delivered fully assembled. The machine will already have undergone a trial run before delivery in order to test all the functions and thereby guarantee trouble-free operation after installation.
You must merely supply the connecting cables, connect the respective water pipes and provide a plug socket for the power.
7. How is the washing water heated?
The construction of the machine allows it to be used with a variety of heat exchangers. This means that you can buy an electric boiler from us to heat your machine. Equally, you can utilize your central heating system or use steam or thermo oil (thermo oil limited to 150°C), so that the machine uses the cheapest energy source that you can provide.
8. How long does a washing process take?
This question cannot be answered in one sentence! Baskets need between 5 and 8 minutes, with a change; trolleys that are frequently washed are normally clean within 10 minutes. Very heavily soiled trolleys can easily take half an hour and longer.
It always depends on the cleaning agent used and its level of concentration. Of course the temperature of the water also plays an important part.
